I’m back from a fun-filled weekend in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia and DC where I had the pleasure of hanging with some of the world’s best bridal bloggers at the B-List Conference. A big thanks to Anne, Vane and Maria for all their hard work coordinating everything.
It will take me a few posts to tell you all about it but I’ll start with the Friday night Meet & Greet cocktail reception at The Torpedo Factory. The space looked and sounded great (flowers by Holly Chappelle Flowers, furniture by DC Rentals and the wedding and event entertainment and bands by Elan Artists).
The fun and delicious menu was created by Design Cuisine. There was a “Pop-Up Bar” featuring everything popped like popcorn (in every variety), pop rocks, pop tarts, etc. Another fave was the DIY-Prosecco bar where guests could add their favorite flavorings (pear, cranberry, orange and pomegranate!).
The passed hors d’oeurves were amazing and I loved that they named each appetizer after a different B-List blogger. I’m pleased to report that the Globetrotting Bride’s All-Over Influenced Duck Confit Taco with Asian Pear Salsa was sooo delicious! Don’t you just want to reach into your computer screen and grab one? I bet you do!
